The story:

In the Grimm version Snow White finds the dwarves’ home very tidy, so they ask her to knit and sew and keep house for them. The wicked queen makes several attempts on poor Snow White’s life - a corset tied way too tight, a poisoned comb and then the apple. The dwarfs give Snow White and her coffin to the prince for his “dearest possession” and as his servants carry it away they trip over a tree stump and jolt the coffin, causing the poison apple to fly out and Snow White to wake. The wicked queen comes to their wedding and is forced to dance to her death in hot iron shoes. No true love’s kiss here. But who can resist a story about 7 knit worthy roommates?
