This yarn club will be inspired by some of our favorite classic novels. In order to make it a truly special experience, we’re picking just four books and crafting luxury themed boxes around them. Treat yourself or someone you love!

The lineup:

January: Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte

April: Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson

July: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

October: Dracula by Bram Stoker

Each package includes:

• three skeins of coordinating colorways all inspired by that quarter’s selection. These will be designed so they can be used together in a project or separately. They will usually be three different colorways on the same base 100- 115g each, but we might do two skeins of one base and color and a coordinating 50g skein of Suri Silk at least once.

• a card with a little background about the book that inspired the colorway and the author who wrote it.

• a virtual book club meeting with Kate and other members where you can BYO snacks and drinks, bring a project, and chat about the book (or chat about everything but the book and then talk about the book for five minutes before signing off - we’ll be flexible depending on what our group loves to do!) There will be games and prizes and sneak peeks of new collections too. Obviously no pressure to join in if this isn’t your thing, but it’s a great chance to hang out with some awesome people who share at least two of your passions! These meetings will almost always be the last Saturday of the shipping month from 8-9:30pm Eastern but are subject to change.

• awesome book related swag. Sometimes this will mean one more substantial/expensive accessory or tool, sometimes it will be 2-3 smaller items. Basically we take our swag budget and create a package we’d love to receive ourselves. Many extras will be fiber-craft related, but we also sneak in self care, treats, and other fun things.

We will possibly have up to 5 boxes available for purchase in the general shop each quarter, but these will not be guaranteed. Other than those, colorways will be exclusive to the club for at least 6 months, and any leftover skeins from the past lineup will be available to members only on a special page on our site. Members will also be able to custom order additional skeins for larger projects.

Yarn will be mailed the first week of each shipping month, with the exception of our first mailing which will go out by the end of January. There will be a mix of our base yarns with tonal semi-solids, kettle-dyed yarns and lots of gorgeous speckles. You choose if you want light yarns (light fingering up to sport weight) or heavy yarns (sport weight up to bulky) or a mix of the two (heavy one month, light another) which is a great way to experience several different bases over the course of the year.
