A few years ago our family traveled to the Alsace region of France for a magical Christmas. This box is inspired by our time there. A gorgeous sock set of soft glowing colors that will fit the Christmas season but be wearable all winter, and European Christmas Market goodies. Each box includes mulling spice sachets to make a couple mugs of jus de pomme chaud (hot apple cider) or vin chaud (mulled wine), a package of Belgian macaroons (coconut cookies not to be confused with macarons) and a chocolate gingerbread treat imported from Germany. These are the tastes and smells of Christkindlmarkts all around Europe. We have the same box available in a set of Posh Sock and Posh DK skeins as well.

This base is perfect for socks! The nylon gives it a bit of extra strength and the superwash wool makes it so easy to care for. One set is usually enough for a pair of socks with contrasting heels and toes, but you'll want to check your pattern for yardage requirements.

We use colorfast acid dyes and rinse all our yarns our own special woolwash blend to give it a smooth hand, a soothing smell and to help protect it from fiber-eaters.
