Make it Work is a series of colorways that are non-repeatable. Sometimes they’re the result of an oops - using too much or too little of a certain color than our recipe called for, incorrect water temperature which causes the dye to strike differently. They could be the result of a dye session that’s just for fun or experimentation, or they’re a way to use up extra dye stock at the end of a dye session. Then maybe a couple more layers of color are added, a smattering of speckles. As we continue to play with the color until it becomes something that works. These are our ode to makers - and how we don’t always have “happy accidents” usually a lot of effort goes into making things work!

This base yarn is super luxurious. The cashmere makes it extra squishy and soft, and the nylon gives it extra strength. Plus it's superwash so it's easy to care for, so you know your special project won't get ruined. The perfect yarn for extra special gifts. It is such a pleasure to knit up!

We use colorfast acid dyes and rinse all our yarns with a conditioning agent and pure lavender essential oil to give it a smooth hand, a soothing smell and to help protect it from fiber-eaters.
