McMullin Fiber Co. is a family company based in Cincinnati Ohio.  We specialize in luxury handknit fashions and hand-dyed yarns and fibers, plus a smattering of other crafty goodness.  Our yarns and fibers were formally sold under the name “Knit IT UP”, but as we’ve grown, our company has become more about fiber than knitting, and more about family than anything else.

Kate is the Head Dyer, Spinner, Knitter and basically oversees all the creative stuff.  When she’s not playing with fiber, she’s playing with kids: Abby, Jack and Liam.  Abby is already getting involved – mostly helping out with shipping.  So if the labels on your package are a bit crooked and you’re thinking, “It looks like these labels were put on by a 5 year old.” Well, you’re right.  But if you’re like Kate, you didn’t even notice the labels, the package is in shreds on the floor and you’re petting your new fiber!
